Calling all Storytellers! 

Misericordia is filled with wonderful stories: stories about the residents’ lives, campus happenings, and the dedicated staff. We love sharing these stories in Mis Biz and on the MFA-Sibs website. It gives us all a sense of our community's richness.

Why don’t you tell one of your stories? There are several categories that you might think about:

• Personal stories about residents or a residence: a brother wrote lovingly about his sibling’s Special Olympics swim meet; the Shannon Apartment “man cave”; and how staff helped a resident deal with the death of his father.
• Stories about what’s happening in the Misericordia community: what the Ministry Department does, a recap of The Artist in All, fun facts about Candy Days.
• Is there a Misericordia staff leader who inspires you or who went the extra mile?

Articles are not limited to these topics – there are so many stories to tell!

Barb can help you craft an article and/or let you know if that topic has recently been covered. She will also ask the MFA Chairs and the MFA Liaison to review the article before publication. (The article may be edited for clarity, and/or we may suggest additional information to be included.)
